Refund Policy

Last updated: September 14, 2026

The short version

  • The plan starts with a 30-day free trial. Cancel before it ends and you are never charged.
  • One trial period per customer.
  • Cancel part-way through a paid period and you keep access to the end of it.
  • Monthly plans aren't refunded once charged — the free trial is the time to decide.
  • Annual plans are refunded pro rata: you get back the part of the year you haven't used.
  • Dodo Payments is the merchant of record, and refunds go back to the payment method you used.
  • Cancel any time in the app: Settings → Account, under Plan.
  • Refund requests: billing@rudopo.app.
  • This summary is a courtesy — the numbered sections below are the operative text.

1. What this policy covers

Subscription charges for Rudopo, and how to get one back.

This Refund Policy explains when Rudopo refunds a subscription charge and how to ask for one. It forms part of the Terms of Service, and the defined terms used there apply here. On refunds this policy is the operative text and prevails over any other provision of the Terms (Terms clause 8.5). Nothing here limits a refund that Dodo Payments would otherwise grant, or any right you hold under the consumer law of your own country that cannot be excluded by agreement.

Rudopo is operated from the United States by Rudopo LLC. This policy states what Rudopo does; it does not summarise, extend or restrict any right you hold under the law of your own jurisdiction.

2. Free trial

Try it for 30 days; one trial period per customer. Cancel before it ends and nothing is charged at all.

A paid plan begins with a free trial of up to 30 days. No charge is taken during the trial. If you cancel before the trial ends, you are never charged and there is nothing to refund.

Each customer has one trial period of 30 days, counted from the day their first trial starts. A later subscription by the same customer receives the unexpired part of that period, if any, and none once it has ended.

If you live in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, consumer law gives you 14 days from subscribing to withdraw from the purchase. Where you are given the full 30-day free trial, it is longer than that period and no charge is taken during it, so cancelling within the period means nothing is charged.

At the end of the trial the subscription converts to a paid one and the first charge is taken. Everything below applies from that charge onward.

3. Cancelling part-way through a billing period

You keep access to the end of the period you already paid for, and it doesn't renew after that.

You can cancel at any time in the app, under Settings → Account, in the Plan section. When you cancel, the subscription stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and does not renew after that. You keep full access for that whole time — cancelling does not cut your access short.

Cancelling stops the next renewal; it is not itself a request for a refund of the period already paid for. Whether that period can be refunded depends on which plan you are on — see Refunds below.

4. Refunds

Monthly isn't refunded once charged — the free trial is the trial. Annual is refunded pro rata for the time you haven't used.

Payments for Rudopo are processed by Dodo Payments, which acts as the merchant of record and as an authorised reseller of Rudopo. Dodo Payments is the seller on your receipt and on your card or bank statement, and Rudopo neither receives nor stores your payment-card details.

Monthly plans. A monthly charge is not refunded once it has been taken. The 30-day free trial is the period in which Rudopo is meant to be evaluated: it costs nothing, your card is authorised but never charged, and cancelling before it ends means no charge is ever taken. After that, a month is the smallest period we sell, and cancelling stops the next one while leaving you full access to the month you paid for.

Annual plans. An annual charge is refunded pro rata for the unexpired portion of the year. The refund is the part of the year you have not used, counted in days from the date the refund is approved to the date the subscription would have renewed. Cancel six months into a year and roughly half the price comes back; cancel a week after an annual renewal you did not want and nearly all of it does.

Every request is read by a person, and a refund may also be issued outside this policy where the circumstances warrant it — including on a monthly plan. If something has gone wrong, write to us and say so.

Where the consumer protection law of your own country grants you an unconditional right to withdraw from the purchase, that right applies and overrides this policy.

A refund is returned to the original payment method where possible, in the currency of the original charge. Where your bank converted the charge, the amount you receive back can differ from the amount you paid because of the exchange rate applied on each date. How quickly it then appears is a matter for your bank or card issuer.

5. How to request a refund

Email billing@rudopo.app with your account email and the date of the charge.

Write to billing@rudopo.app. To let us find the charge without a second exchange, include:

  • The email address on your Rudopo account.
  • The date and amount of the charge, or the receipt you were emailed.
  • What you would like us to do, and briefly why.

Cancelling a subscription does not require writing to us at all — it is done in the app, under Settings → Account, in the Plan section. This address is for refunds. We answer from the Rudopo support queue and reply to the address on the account.

6. Changes to this policy

If it changes, the date at the top changes with it, and the version in force is the one you paid under.

Rudopo may amend this policy. The date at the head of this page records the current version. The version in force when a charge is taken governs that charge, so an amendment never worsens the terms of a payment you have already made.
