Everything Rudopo does

Every feature below is shipped and included — one plan, no gates. If something you need is missing, tell us and it joins the roadmap conversation.

Budgeting

Envelope Budgeting

Assign what you have to envelopes, spend from them, and watch what remains. Budget a whole group as one amount or category by category — each group chooses. Unspent money rolls forward, overspending is covered from another envelope in a click, and a new month starts fast by copying last month or a 3-month average.

Clean Slate

When a budget has drifted past rescuing, start a clean one without throwing anything away. Your accounts arrive at the balances they hold today, along with your categories, targets, payees, labels, rules, reminders and recurring templates, and the envelopes start empty. The old budget is archived whole, under a dated name, and stays readable — nothing is rewritten in place and no transaction is deleted. Fifteen minutes to undo, and deleting the new budget brings the old one back.

Targets & Auto-Assign

Set a monthly funding target, a balance to build, or a savings-by-date goal on any category. Underfunded categories flag themselves, and one click assigns exactly what's needed this month — capped by what you have to give.

Credit Card Handling

Spend on a card and the budgeted money moves into that card's payment category automatically, so its Available always shows what you can safely pay. No more guessing how much of your balance is actually covered.

True Multi-Currency

Hold accounts in a different currency than your budget — both have to be currencies Rudopo carries an official rate for — converted at the official rate of the day (the ECB's daily reference rates, and the official US-dollar pegs for the UAE dirham, Saudi riyal and Qatari riyal), with each currency's own rate history, so imported history converts at the rate of its day, not today's. No silent one-to-one conversions, anywhere.

Separate Spaces

Keep fully separate budgets under one account — one per country, household, or project — each with its own currency, accounts, and categories. Switch between them instantly, and see their combined net worth converted into one number wherever an official rate connects their currencies.

Budget Templates

Save any budget's category structure as a template and start the next space from it, instead of rebuilding groups and categories by hand.

Accounts & tracking

Smart Ledger

Split one charge across categories, edit inline, and move money between accounts as atomically paired transfers. Bulk-edit, clear, and reconcile against statements; undo protects the risky actions. Month separators keep long histories readable.

Accounts & Net Worth

Track checking and savings alongside credit cards, lines of credit, loans, investments, retirement, crypto, fixed deposits, property, and vehicles. Budget accounts drive your envelopes; tracking accounts carry market values — and together they roll up into a net worth you can watch over time.

Loan Tracking

Record a loan's terms and every payment splits into its anatomy — principal, interest, escrow, fees — read straight from your ledger. A payoff simulator shows what extra payments would change.

Recurring Transactions

Set up bills and income once. Transactions auto-enter on their due dates, with options to skip, post manually, or adjust — on flexible schedules built from frequency templates.

Statement Imports

Bring your history with you — CSV, OFX, QFX, QIF, even PDF statements. Bank files skip straight to review, duplicates are detected automatically, and any import can be undone in one click.

Calendar View

Every day shows its actual transactions and a running net, with upcoming recurring bills penciled in on future days and reminders flagged when they come due. Click any day to review it or add to it.

Reports & insight

Analytics Reports

Spending trends, income vs expense, budget vs actual, breakdowns by category, merchant, and account, net worth history, cash flow, savings rate, spending habits, label lens, category momentum, a year-at-a-glance grid, and a money-flow Sankey. Bookmark the ones you live in.

What-If Forecasting

The cash-flow forecast projects your balance through upcoming scheduled items — then layers what-if scenarios on top: a raise you're considering, a car payment you haven't taken on. Hypotheticals draw a second line on the chart and can touch nothing real.

Labels

Labels cut across categories: tag the flights, meals, and taxis of one trip and the Label Lens report totals what it really cost — without bending your category structure around one-off events.

Speed & automation

Rules Engine

Match on payee, amount, account, and more; set the category, payee, or labels automatically. First matching rule wins, labels accumulate, and any rule can be applied retroactively to existing history.

Developer API

A small REST API with personal access tokens you create and revoke yourself. Pull transactions, balances and budget months into whatever you already use. No client library to install — the API is described in OpenAPI, so you can generate one in your own language.

Reminders

Any date that matters — bills, renewals, documents, warranties — with countdowns, overdue flags, and an optional repeat term. Each one picks its own warning time, from a day to a year ahead, so a passport speaks up months before a bill does.

Calculator Inputs

Every amount field is a calculator — inline expressions like 42.50+18.99 evaluate as you type, so splitting a bill never needs a separate app.

Help Built In

The complete user guide lives inside the app, and so does a direct help & feedback channel — report a bug or ask a question with a screenshot attached, and the answer arrives in the same place.

Works On Your Phone

Rudopo is built for the phone as well as the desk: a bottom bar for the places you go most, one-thumb capture for the purchase you just made, and every screen — budget, ledger, reports, calendar — laid out for a small screen rather than squeezed into one. Open it in your browser; there is nothing to install.

Bird Themes

Every theme is a bird that matches its plumage — Dove's clean white, Owl's cozy dark, Raven's black and gold, Peacock's evergreen signature — each crafted to be easy on the eyes for long sessions.

Shared Spaces

Invite your partner into a space with a link. You both see and edit the same accounts, categories and transactions; the owner keeps the settings, the invites and the delete button. Two collaborator seats come with every plan.

Privacy & your data

Privacy Mode

Budget on a train or share your screen without sharing your balances — privacy mode masks every amount in the app with one click, and one click brings them back.

No Bank Connections

Rudopo connects to nothing. You enter transactions or import statements yourself, which means no bank credentials handed over, no third-party aggregator reading your accounts, and a budget you actually looked at.

Backup & Restore

Download a complete backup — every space, every table, one JSON file on your machine and nowhere else — and restore from it later. A gentle reminder cadence keeps backups from being the thing you forgot.

Full Control Of Your Data

Export your transactions as CSV that opens in Excel and imports straight back, pull any table to a spreadsheet, and delete your account with every record when you choose to leave — built in, not a support ticket.

All of it, on every plan.
